On the edge of the Waveney Valley, Friends Farm is an ideal location for birdwatchers, walkers, runners, cyclists, artists or those who choose to just relax and take in the views.

Near the Norfolk/Suffolk border, the village of Alburgh is between the market towns of Harleston and Bungay. Close by, there are many footpaths and quiet lanes for those who like to walk, and a number of pubs and places to eat and drink just a short drive away. There are sandy beaches all along the Norfolk and Suffolk coast, some only a 35 minute drive away.
